Privacy Policy
Last updated 15 August 2026
This policy explains what information this website collects, how it is used, and the choices you have. It covers the website only. Information you share once you become a client is governed separately by the practice’s clinical confidentiality obligations and by the informed consent paperwork you receive before your first session.
What this website collects
Information you give directly. If you email, call, or book a consultation, you provide your name, contact details, and whatever you choose to write. Please do not send detailed clinical or health information through the website, email, or social media. Those channels are not encrypted for protected health information.
Payment information. Session and package payments are processed by Stripe. Payment card details go directly to Stripe and are never received or stored by this practice. What comes back is limited to your name, email, the item purchased, and the amount.
Scheduling information. Consultation booking runs through Calendly, which collects the details you enter and your selected time.
Mailing list. If you choose to sign up for updates, your email address, and your first name if you give one, are stored with Resend so that occasional writing and resources can be sent to you. Signing up is entirely optional and separate from becoming a client. Every email includes a link to unsubscribe, and you may also ask to be removed by replying to any message.
Technical information. This site is hosted on Vercel, which records standard server logs such as IP address, browser type, and pages requested. These logs are used for security and reliability. This site does not run advertising trackers, and it does not sell your information to anyone, ever.
How your information is used
To respond to you, to schedule and provide services, to process payment, to send the updates you asked for if you signed up for them, and to meet legal, licensing, and professional obligations. That is the whole list. Contacting the practice, booking a consultation, or buying sessions will never add you to the mailing list; that only happens if you sign up for it yourself.
Third parties
This practice uses a small number of service providers to operate: Stripe for payments, Calendly for scheduling, Resend for transactional email, Google Workspace for email, and Vercel for hosting. Each receives only what it needs to do its job, and each maintains its own privacy policy.
Health information
Clinical records created in the course of treatment are confidential and protected under Washington State law and professional ethical standards. Those records are kept separately from anything collected through this website. Limits to confidentiality, including mandatory reporting obligations and risk of harm, are explained in the informed consent documents provided before treatment begins.
Your choices
You may request a copy of the information held about you, ask for corrections, or ask that website contact information be deleted. Clinical records are subject to separate retention requirements under state law and cannot always be deleted on request. To make a request, email alexis@alexiskimball.com.
Children
This website is not directed to children under 13, and information is not knowingly collected from them.
